ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the

to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will6 |7 O3 A" x9 r( H/ J U( U
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a2 q+ S$ n j) g/ E! U4 d5 y* k5 f
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
1 S; v* s% P# C/ g/ Ufrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is% ?0 P1 ]1 \ m1 r/ @4 v
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA- a0 G9 q4 E n$ Z+ t/ ?$ W6 A
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
" Y: l( p1 \1 lover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification+ f- S" }5 s. e$ }$ f: G4 ~: i6 s% ?- Y
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
. u8 ~+ F6 t4 n* R- B" S8 uthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping9 T" n7 l' \4 {, k; | f6 T

This position is conditional to a successful application of external( Q1 `$ ^/ N; O( n' J2 W' ?! G
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
; B+ A8 L0 L. j, ?9 ]' U4 b4 ksalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on& n0 _: o& m6 Q' P9 F
