ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
/ S/ {0 N2 o1 D/ ~technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
" c3 b( ^# J) C  Z$ M  E& `  H0 pobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
% {4 o) R  q( h: J) n! f$ rrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
  S" q; M* {( z( y+ U7 b" G6 Efrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
3 a/ S& S$ l4 ~9 p3 a+ [/ mover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
2 c/ q, z4 e! ?  gaccurate and complete research records.

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
