ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our

! f( d% w- b. ]$ \& d2 U5 wQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
' F5 B/ o0 W3 u$ o$ N. _obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
  C& E; u! o8 f3 j( [1 h/ u( w! srelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
# \  o0 S6 W* i* Tfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
! X5 `2 t, C6 D( p) ~over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
& P5 i: V8 l7 b+ K- w, _) gis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
! n$ |- T2 X! zthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external

/ o: b- p3 f; X7 z2 wsalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
