INGREDIENTS:

• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour ( if you don’t like the trouble, use all-purpose flour)

PREPARATION:1 O; m0 i' r4 Q0 W% P
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

I normally strictly follow the amount for each ingredient the recipe calls for, except SUGAR( I prefer to cut it to ¾ or 2/3 of the recipe. It is too sweet for some Chinese. But if you like the sweetness of the Cake Mix you got from super market, you can follow the recipe.) H" ` U: t! |; w4 s2 b( D
