烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
# I. v* x1 @3 |' c9 YTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
; U; ]5 T/ h( ^Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.# F) T& i9 V4 x) l

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。: f( N# Y5 ^! D. w! f( L
beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。8 e& e" N$ E$ o5 \ X5 o$ y h
& i0 o0 t8 W( E' e. F) ]. T检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
