烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter
) J7 V5 _9 D4 N% g8 L• 1 cup sugar 7 `8 b3 u! A4 y5 N4 B; ~8 w4 c# v* s m
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
1 N g! Y+ a0 v. j# [1 u# a8 g7 @6 E• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
$ k% {1 g3 G j& d! f4 ^• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
7 A/ ]6 r$ J% h0 z; p7 O1 W• 4 eggs, well beaten$ @" r5 y6 G: L' c+ {4 N5 ~

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
8 J! M" w. G2 J, A+ U" N1 v5 \ NTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
3 b+ m [8 s9 c: [Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
; ]7 [4 \. j9 \. \: zbeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
