烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)3 T7 n! V4 ], |* d
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
2 L: q" d5 l! a/ g5 m |% B• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
7 {' C+ [) m* C4 b, M: Y, i• 4 eggs, well beaten# y9 }$ X0 w( }- C2 J' m

PREPARATION:
; m1 ~8 M! h6 H( N8 fBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. ) Y9 t& b% w# O9 ]* d' f2 ~* u" U
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
( t9 d p4 m! o7 {7 C7 KBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
