8 D9 a8 o& k" F1 _The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
4 L- Q2 u0 E0 w+ z; j6 V8 L eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
8 n+ F1 o& l. C3 x7 R. K customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
this broad land.

We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
; M6 c3 V& d, S% M7 y3 l$ H# y/ S contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
0 T) Z" B$ l) [6 \ performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
: ]$ M, S; \' V  ]; O ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
2 v9 K! F" c1 n" E" J Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
lot of fun, like what we did before.
) B; m) J% a2 \* P9 E% L0 p. _
' a! x6 K. z% A: F& OAs far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
  W: j4 r) F) H# m7 X/ Z performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
7 I* R% Q& M5 Q( g' c' X program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

" r+ n  m0 D/ P8 HMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
control.
