愁都与我们无关，舞姿歌声都发自我们心底。不需要专业的培训，也没有华丽. y+ G/ o6 r0 r9 b
的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭
3 }; m& o- I3 T6 M 的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。$ K) D! g% @9 r8 E

节目的内容不限，可以是独唱、合唱、舞蹈、相声、小品、话剧，或是一些才5 q0 }# m- H1 f) p+ R

First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year

' ?: U3 [ K8 K6 _& k$ ^6 ~. _The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University# g( L' f5 V6 o3 v
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the, W) M6 a% K1 I, }; y0 t
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese* X, ^' B% {2 W% K5 Q) b+ H F
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
: n+ [0 N7 H- @* L/ l customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on+ u" Q/ z4 g, g7 t9 _2 T, i
this broad land.
8 r2 T4 P+ n$ \% g: j8 ] 7 k' ]) H' z0 _ p5 z% _' K1 Z `( e
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to& @1 D. m; e, N
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
( S! o* L. Q: m1 Y9 } talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in7 B; h4 D8 |) z3 I6 @
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
4 [' F4 _3 e" S, |6 V ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
+ P( k9 W U0 ~7 N8 t: s" O6 a2 J Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a# Y% V! F3 D3 |1 o2 O$ Q: R6 I
lot of fun, like what we did before.+ g& C3 N! O7 m! x

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
" \( _1 O- p2 {# Z3 @2 U" X sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),6 y1 t# o3 Y- |! D
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
6 l+ o. ^4 f# N performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your' l+ D) n" b: M3 U7 j
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
! y" e1 |/ E) E* B$ H5 _9 @4 \" u comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also9 l6 T. [7 J8 D+ i! g/ V$ [
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
