Staff

• provide leadership to staff and volunteers

• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• communicate the value of the organization to the public

; k- O- [6 f ?3 D4 q• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups* U% L y5 _9 q
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
0 Y- R* _( Q! j8 k6 o1 l# J5 s" w• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications
2 q! U& F ?3 N$ ?5 r- University degree in a related field; , j/ F* | N6 m# q9 K. `
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;0 {6 [6 d% F: s
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; & {7 a3 A, _$ j ]
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
9 n( T! j' K/ P! K4 S7 f& h& n# Y! x4 P& o; r5 ?) K/ m
Salary
& n5 y2 { s+ ?- {* k1 b" W+ G9 K- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
