• set program priorities and directions

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

: n- s) \' R3 \) k• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• identify community needs and trends
/ }2 v7 u# k$ j1 ~5 _& E• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
% K M6 N# [' Y• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
7 M5 o D" `3 e• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications
3 W2 k* Y' D* ]- University degree in a related field; $ H1 V* b: [- T' [8 {
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;3 Z* T7 j' D q$ x1 F
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
6 x! r) s! D8 h F/ E0 i4 G- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 9 K+ y2 R3 r1 T2 p7 {" p
; `% E. i: ?. \) j' A1 M" {$ LSalary/ r7 ~) `6 d) t; P/ a
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
