JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

' t; j# Z6 \$ G. }* t1 r& ~& ?% o DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
2 \" v2 Q2 U5 r* D  N
  r4 `9 v5 ]4 H! a6 `2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
4 E. x) [* c8 n% J
4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

: m: ^/ _/ k( [/ d! D5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

* G0 b% T+ K$ h' |6 F) ]% T' BQUALIFICATIONS:
) i+ U+ S& y" n- Q/ y- h
( J: {; u4 M" f$ h! k0 _1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

$ ^6 }) t. P3 r9 T& ?3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

! V6 U6 S8 Y2 J! N& l6 d: n5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
