JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

- U1 w6 f% H- R/ r- W8 ^ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

9 [: w& S" t' m) W. \/ Z6 h3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
. m5 C- }6 q* u& |( P
, Z( L" C4 `3 ^  F5 r4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.
$ }# Q! ~. {5 J% K) b8 |, f. k( d
7 G) i0 |3 z& e) L5) Serve as cashier when required.

% i( q; W! }: `1 o, w( S2 S7 _, h1 _6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Q1 y0 n  `! D& \* L" E7 ]1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
1 ]+ O: f& @: p, x  L. b
  A$ l' ~0 R  A2 S4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
