Shifts:            8:00am to11:00am - Wednesday and Friday

. o3 ]- I4 [" o3 c- ]JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

6 Y& z( h/ N2 x DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

, y  o; ]- @: |# v( L: M' B( N1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

8 p$ y$ v, c6 t- v* o6 W" r2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

& y/ M5 h' u, {! G  R4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

% b, O- t# f  ~$ P8 `7 X8 W5) Serve as cashier when required.
# |+ U" \  a8 h. b% r9 X
& `+ A* o- F  [, ]8 m4 M  g6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 _- X8 T- c, _: e0 K  ?1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
3 ?7 |2 x( d0 U1 Q: j$ ]+ J- U/ v  H
, b' ?+ Y& h' k1 D8 x2 w3 Q2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

. R- m) H4 ~  |. \. C* u, R! E  b4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
