申请者应满足如下条件:
a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
& y& l5 D1 E/ A( Wb) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）
0 @/ i& C# M" N1 `+ {6 oc) 托福成绩：笔试550分或以上，机试213分或以上
5 s6 A8 U1 r7 ~( wd) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣
e) 有良好团队精神

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
' z9 o6 R7 J' `, f( ~( I% f5 gand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
! `7 Q% \( H) |8 d$ z! G/ o$ S& APotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
2 Y! d- J+ e+ W) m" v3 ?5 r' pintegrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
* _/ }1 C" x* T) ^. H3 Y(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
% ^+ h2 X: d% [$ _2 X(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
6 P* k# C$ `5 ^- _& I, A/ r1 w(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
