d) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
6 }. K6 ]" ^! G7 ~# |& g& v* Genthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
! e9 W2 e: k4 k0 mand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
, f6 Z- i7 i9 u. q; iPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

8 ]& \3 }7 P. y# XThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
