Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
' y; i9 P  N$ X6 [# uand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.
+ N* p, z" S5 O6 g4 J
The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
* ?, l" w0 m5 P- N& n$ ]! _(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
7 @: h# O/ L2 h0 [(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
6 }/ L  c* e' Y+ T(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
