Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
7 y+ {. E: J; n7 l, _, oenthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
- k/ _/ }2 v( ~) L# a: {* x+ \integrated system/circuit design.

. w  M1 n/ y3 C" JThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
" A( z2 X5 h, f9 v(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
3 W+ M' v% m1 p- r0 w(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
