Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
0 `1 ?- o# Z, g' ]9 P! `2 genthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
4 I) W9 }1 j/ Q- c5 `! V9 J1 Tand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
3 B' h0 k  d) I3 J$ GPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
4 [4 z8 o6 K1 D  N' m+ uintegrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
0 }# v. m5 w* ]6 k0 S6 O(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
( Z7 X- O6 b& k+ A(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
" R/ k/ O- w7 W(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
