Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in agriculture or in a related science normally accepted for membership in a recognized society of agrologists. Courses for the specialization must have been taken in University but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization.

Management, monitoring and delivery of plant protection and production inspection, audit and quality management programs particularly, export, import, domestic movement, bio-surveys as they relate to forestry, horticulture,grains,field crops, and seed potato, of plant protection and plant production programs as well as programs for seed; Animal Products fertilizers and pest control products. Compliance checks on plants products and accredited establishments in terms of national and international standards in order to promote consumer protection and market access. Delivery of advice and guidance to CFIA staff and management; consumers, other government departments and clients.
