学徒电工的工作机会如何？

如题。以前没做过电工，想从头学期，培训完成后是学徒电工，不知道在这里工作机会如何？收入怎样？是不是真的如一些筒子们说的一月下来收入1w多？请当地的大侠给说说。先谢了！

The first year apprentice makes 60% or 65% percent of journeyman rate. But I do not beleive that the apprentice can make 10K a month without LOA. If it is, the overtime hours will be more than 1000 hours a year. That is too much.

第一年学徒(新人)是很难找工作的,招工的广告上的第一年学徒是指那些已经在做学徒有一定时间(有经验)了,但没去考试,依然还是第一年学徒的.一般是55%或60%.

建筑工地上的电工31块多小时,每周还有超时工资,你算算多钱一年.但难的是进入那种公司

# d' t+ }3 z! g谢谢大家的热心！请问如果在SAIT读完Pre-employment Electrician 并且完成 the first year Alberta Apprenticeship Examination, 会有多少促进呢？另外LOA是指什么？

Most the time, First Year and Second Year they get you to tie up high on cable trays , and pull cables, lots of cables.  Only labour works.

You almost learn nothing.

Be sure you go to provincial building at Franklin ave to register your first year apprenticeship.

Then try Keyano college for co-op opportunity, or go to IBEW424 Fort Mcmurray to apply for membership,they will find job for you.

3 l- M- V" T7 o2 YYou also can apply job at any electrical companies here in Fort Mcmurray, try newspaper, but this will be no union job.
