JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
( y% A: K1 A' S9 @: P, Q7 U1 ]7 @SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
1 f7 F" t$ [) PSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects ! M9 n% J5 \9 L% V* h; {& j! h- ^* V
of Course Pack production.* D* x J$ R+ [- B/ |" E# y
5 f& L$ c! B- r# rDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
% p) I, f( W; h- I1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
; V$ \8 u: j7 k6 F* B$ kof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing./ R' e/ ?# M! ]6 S; s; j% E% m
" F+ N2 |. }6 F' |6 T
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
& m: z: g- R% P0 yprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
5 h6 Z: h" q- }) x0 T! V! E/ d% q$ ?' G% Y
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
T! X9 V/ |" Bcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
+ l% t8 l/ k6 @: A* C3 Bkeeping appropriate and accurate records.% F; [8 E" {- E" N* a' T6 ~7 g+ Z
4 r a9 [* t2 U7 T4 B. `4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
2 h5 Y; d+ o& @0 ]8 X4 ?; xfailures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
5 n/ O5 r- _) E: w* n/ Q' Q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
! f8 d; I" s* O- q& j2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
' u) p: N6 c& |, y. i3 `skills.

, G" P5 P: r# t2 P3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
