10% Vacation and Stat pay, $3.00 / hr extra for night shift and $2.00 /hr extra for dual tickets

$ J m4 g; f' T, B' hOur client, an industrial asset-management company that provides best-in-class, sustaining and maintenance services across the Canadian gas and oil sector is looking to add several Red-Seal (Interprovincial) or Alberta-licensed Instrumentation Technicians to their Team.

+ v, V3 G0 b9 ^( S! T8 V+ T8 eResponsibilities of the Role:* G! E- E' a1 O4 Z- U
1 ^% J# x& o- d+ g2 w5 g" I( V% r- Install and maintain instruments on new or existing plant equipment and processes
; V) B4 W; v# T/ c- Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications* S5 ^ l5 t2 L) [4 V
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control equipment- K) H5 s4 T' ?) _ t. N
- Consult manufacturers’ manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures / Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devises to inspect and test instrument and system operation, and diagnose faults
, H- K: \7 t( F t# m- Implement loss management practices) e) `8 U8 o$ L3 C: T
- Consult with and advise process operators" I$ j8 k; [) j! l5 n/ |
- Do Risk Assessments3 s* |# R4 e5 G, p* L F; m
- Interpret and use appropriate CSA, ISA and API installation standards and practices
