在这里说话得注意精确度，以爱城的平均收入水平，35万以上的房子应该算中高价位，不是无人问津，是少有人问津，而且走得很慢很慢。这几天爱城市政府在投票决定阿省是否要有rental control。安省就有控制房租涨价的各项具体措施。另外，为了不使爱城变成FORT MCMURRY的翻版，省政府在45天以后会宣布一项解决爱城高房价的具体措施。以上信息是本人这两天听本地新闻所得，请大家核实后取阅。

The house prices are ridiculously high now, they will drop in 1-5 years for sure. It is too risky to buy a house now, you may end losing a lot of money. Now those construction workers make tons of money, if you buy a house, you are donating money to them. If you have too much money, you can do that, if not, you need to think about it carefully.

- r+ R( Y1 t6 P: p! g; b7 C' eRenting is a much better option for you, it is cheaper. Try to save money now and wait for a couple of years, if prices drop significantly, then you can buy. Otherwise you may want to move other cities.

2 k. J. @: y4 `) uEspecially if your husband lose his job and you have to pay $2400 for your house monthly, you will be under tremendous pressure.

There is no difference in terms of life quality between renting a house or owning a house. A house is just a place for you to live no matter you own it or rent it. The benefit to own a house is you can build equity from it. After 100% price increase in the recent years, I don't expect to get 10% increase annualy.

If the goverment put controls over the market, it will for sure reduce the risk of market crash, that means the price will keep going up--slowly, but up, for a while yet.

5 d, _4 ], m% e1 \* l! E( b9 PLZ, buy it now, but your need to do a lot of research in this market, safe bet would be: find a fix-upper in a good area.

  s3 S8 z3 c/ v2 t( iUtility (gas+electricity+water): $300/M, day:21 degree C Night: 19 degree C

Closing cost (lawyer fee+inspection): $1000
Furniture at Brick/Leon's level for two bedroom, one living room, one family room: $6K (Low level)
Garden & Lawn tools: roughly $200 last summer. need to buy much more this summer
( m3 J7 |" l/ o) JMy neighbour said it cost her roughly $300 per summer for flower bed.

I am also planning to put side at least $500/M for home maintence and improvement.

6 p1 p5 S3 m$ }7 nIn a word, you will have much more unexpected expesnes once you have a house. It is similar as buying a
car instead of taking a bus. But you will also have much more fun to enjoy.

是呀。而且Michener Park可能是老年中国人最集中的地方。老人在这儿不孤单。
