what you said is not exactly right. if you were hit, you want to make sure your body is exactly the same like before, too.and hit by a car is no joke,people might have nightmares or physiological problem.
the other way to think about is , why the fuck do you hit me? and why should I be "nice" to the "bad guy"?
if you hit a pedestrian, you are at fault no matter what.
