带一块泡沫，垫在脚下，应该有所帮助吧，哈。

上星期我去北面的那个小池塘，据我估计，应该是半尺左右厚。

Checked the weather for the weekend, very low temp over the weekend, it would be very tough to stay on the ice without a tent, you guys need to think it over before we get out if you don't have a tent and a heater.

太好了，大家都动了！
我这个周末把装备备齐，下星期开始跟大家活动

不过有个问题，我住Northgate附近，没有车，有人愿意拉上我吗？
因为是工作在这里，没有安家，所以不方便购置大件的设备，有GPS,如果需要可以再配个Fish finder。

I don't know if you mean sonar when you say fish finder as I doubt if fish finder could stand the low temp, they use underwater camera or sonar more often during the winter they are kind of more designed for hard water season.

we haven't decided the lake for next weekend as the mild weather we have this year, I am personally prefer large lake to small pond, however, if it is not safe enough on the big lake in term of the thickness of the ice, I don't think we have many choices.

just checked out weather and looks like -21 on Saturday and -25 on Sunday!!!

I am ok for going out this weekend (13, 14 ) although it might be little bit hard because I dont have a tend.....

I am not able to go out on (20, 21), that sucks........

I don't think this weekend is good for fishing, too cold and most of us don't have a shelter to stay, I'd like to wait one more week and I believe we will have much better weather. I know it is costly, however, I still suggest to get a tent, not just for staying warm, it will make you enjoy fishing even more.

同意本周末不行动。
一是准备不足，好多装备都没有备齐。
二是天气不好。我个人认为温度低并不可怕，但凭经验，在气候剧烈变化的时候，鱼情大多不会好。
我们知道，鱼是靠鱼漂来控制动作平衡的，当气候剧烈变化的时候，气压不稳定，造成鱼类活动受影响。这时候，大部分鱼类会沉底不动，保护自己。这里叫“cold front",冷前锋，国内叫高压脊。
当然，还有很多鱼友，我们以前戏称“鱼疯子”，以此为乐，挑战天地，也有机会碰上罕见的鱼情疯了的情况，满载而归，但情况并不多见。
希望本周末出去的朋友给大家介绍下情况，让大家多了解冰钓的事情。
