I really don't know and never thought it can be directly translated but I suddenly thought of some words that I never used, when I was driving on my long commute this morning:
/ d: M3 t4 F% w8 u$ d% Cwhat about clichéd ... * x4 _) e+ A' I$ a5 x
& T6 ?5 b% f- Z9 d/ u
( D3 J) {2 z. V! H9 }; i' ]cliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!8 @& Y* n2 I1 {" c( L
but not rouma at all.3 i7 ^0 E5 g7 e, X: w
so far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
