I really don't know and never thought it can be directly translated but I suddenly thought of some words that I never used, when I was driving on my long commute this morning:" [7 B" {% J7 z; N4 a: S0 A
what about clichéd ... ' _" k( Y: Z, y S9 A( i

cliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!( M( O; O# i. _) H: z' G. O9 T$ m
but not rouma at all.
* m% _) ~" a$ p+ dso far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
