I really don't know and never thought it can be directly translated but I suddenly thought of some words that I never used, when I was driving on my long commute this morning:
$ O" B( Y5 _( x! U: p6 xwhat about clichéd ... / P- F- q7 M% {8 B# L4 H
: H7 @1 `, W1 _( n
( Z: }; G1 t8 e- [$ ]5 fcliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!
. T9 K% a: q* M" y1 U" V5 wbut not rouma at all.
3 r8 Y* p' ^+ G% A9 Hso far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
