22%乘的是比$36378 多出来的那部分，不是全部income的22%。就是说年薪4w，联邦税是36378*15.25%+(40000-36378)*22%.

从今年4月1日开始，AB省最低工资$8.4。
另，小草你从国内回来了吗？

请教各位,如果先有个工作小时数不够申请EI的contract的工作,结束前又有个part time的工作,后来自己辞了part time job, 这时候还能申请EI吗?怎么算EI?

Everyone has a credit called threshold, Federal is about $10100 (around,not exact number, change every year), Provincial is around $16100, your yearly income below this, you need not to pay any tax.

this year's personal tax credit base is 9600 there is also an employment tax credit if you are working.
