Non-destructive testers and inspectors perform some or all of the following duties:

Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using ultrasonic, radiographic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current and other non-destructive testing methods! @+ |. s2 t8 V O
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
; L5 P7 @, j" v b: D0 l( ^" yInterpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
* _8 C' F' f6 z& T) v AApply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results

Employment requirements

Additional classroom and on-the-job training is required for certification in non-destructive testing.
6 V c( ~& R; B% d# t$ xNon-destructive testing certification by Natural Resources Canada is available in three levels and is usually required by employers.
1 a& ^4 n; i3 f+ M, g8 O) J- wIndustrial radiographers using a radioactive isotope must pass an examination to be recognized as a certified exposure device operator by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
. W% P3 ^4 R1 D% S' X9 n- I/ F3 YWelding inspector certification by the Canadian Welding Bureau is available in three levels and may be required by employers.
; k2 q9 X2 l( p, QBoiler and pressure vessel, process pipeline and above-ground storage tank inspector certification is available from the American Petroleum Institute.

你好!我是一位在国内从事探伤工作已15个年头的无损检测技师,近期国内有招聘探伤技术人员赋加拿大工作的消息,我可能作为第一批人员赋CANADA,现在还没签订合同!所以现在特别想知道CANADA的探伤工作情况及待遇./ a8 H9 r- M2 _0 v
有必要在国内拿个国际(欧洲)探伤资格证吗?是不是一定要在加拿大本国取证才有效吗?还有就是中国劳动保障部颁发的技师职业资格证,在CANADA能承认吗?谢谢有空的话回一个哦.
