stock investment是属于Capital Gain,50%是taxable capital gain,同样,50%是allowable capital loss,是应该报入personal tax的,给你说说报这玩意的好处,假设你现在亏钱的,没报,那么以后挣钱了,交税的时候,现在这部分credit就丢了,没了。。。。

The amounts you report for the year depend on the type of investment and when you made it. Report amounts you received, minus any part that you reported in previous years. Also report amounts that were credited to you but that you did not receive, such as amounts that were reinvested.
