This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

1) Worst: Cameron Heights
& _7 m& A$ |5 u3 r% k4 fMain entrance on AH

4 h: ~8 L. l' ?: Y7 X" B/ n2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
* b/ \$ M( a9 m" qMajor roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)
1 v; R* M" k* H- ~0 T
3) So So:  Magrath etc.
Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides
4 _" A( Z1 X* v: K) z( U: \
4 F# D- U3 z. t4 k) ]4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
5 U$ _: ]$ e- l& DMain entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.
8 Q; D6 j1 d; F+ _2 ^
5) Best: Windermere Ridge
Same as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
