Our government recognizes that the Internet and digital technologies are

) {) }( M) e2 m4 Z! jCanada’s first comprehensive Digital Economy Strategy, we need to look( s# ~1 h* N4 [: L/ k7 {& M# l
carefully at how issues like UBB affect the big picture. We will be
8 j5 O3 F' v" Iguided by our long-standing policies of encouraging competition and9 i: b! B, c: Y: n5 H& O
investment, increasing consumer choice, minimizing regulation and allowing

9 c+ h% k+ A4 Y. s5 Rcompetition among internet service providers. I will be recommending that
