Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order

1) Old Scona Academic

Strathcona is more known for being a "jock" school - in other words, very athletic. It was also more populated with caucasians... I don't know if that's changed in the last 4/5 years... maybe there are more asians there now? Don't know.

Anyways, besides Strathcona being well known for sports, I have never really heard of it being well known for other attributes... Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program.  :)' f8 V( P3 r( }6 O8 m  r

For students that have a passion for arts: 
$ E: G- p9 K; y* T7 H4 E5 b# sVic Comp used to be attractive for "artsy students", but now, the new Lillian Osbourne has taken its ranks for being an artsy school...
