JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- 6 Q/ \; q- ^+ F' V& [9 P- c
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical - S4 `2 `, N: t
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
5 h+ f7 E$ J7 q4 |4 }9 B- b# b& R) Nof Course Pack production.

F& k, a5 q/ @8 VDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:+ E. [0 V& ^3 G; r$ F
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
; n( v5 @+ \/ ]) B- P z. aof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
) x! u7 e( v6 T, M/ H. c( f1 c( F' p0 R) v" p
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 8 W. Y) x2 z+ B: G! A3 M
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
0 p8 i! Z B2 m7 P: ? W$ Y# v6 i- t( s# n( s1 L. ^" Z! ~- o
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of . t( j" x- W( t- d1 [2 y- Z2 P
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and , R& K# M# I* I! \) k5 h) K* ~- [
keeping appropriate and accurate records.* u! j# {- F; ]+ `
$ Z2 o( q, c$ }0 d ]3 q7 k" R4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 2 \ q& k% e& i& p+ i3 a+ U# O
failures to the Operations Manager.

and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.; `4 w$ u1 s) e6 C* Y
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication " }4 H" _) b6 k
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.6 N# g# U7 y+ F2 i- O7 x

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
