Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and

prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up./ Q0 @( j1 N m* s
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
" ?4 f, \0 L; d3 d& ]1 fartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come." m6 b0 o1 h8 d$ K: u6 D- m. s
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
& n6 R+ \/ S, B5 T: P; k* v8 Rvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the5 A# f7 r0 _, P% l4 Y
recyclables.+ {7 Z q/ x$ m0 i, B$ V
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
: N7 T3 }4 k/ U! e6 m. i% Ppart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.6 e' V& w+ ?. p9 O( ^
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
9 S6 K/ e* @/ Zthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late/ B7 g+ i6 {- k1 T" K) P
hours are part of this crew’s duties.6 l- N% ?8 i0 J4 E8 `
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
( s* n2 F" i7 W+ G0 [8 o4 yfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
, ` S8 {, w5 t4 B) w' ~* P# wprograms to visitors to the festival." _/ N! K4 ]( L
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
9 M% n! _4 c4 _+ o- x C% aeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
! @' j9 j: N) h$ P& HOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
# K: K4 \4 E9 Kevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
, }9 m$ K( G& C2 v, zfestival.; V# Z: @% d3 S O( K2 @
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is. n( v8 W6 ]5 m. [4 P% J$ F
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you2 s0 ^- J6 e% c% H3 O3 u
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.- z& D4 N! z8 K5 P/ j% q0 E$ n
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training$ Z) \; T( h( ?! Y$ g- \
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.( K$ Q3 R# @: f9 A7 S- R
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
8 ]2 c7 P! I; _; Q% q9 b8 irequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
! W( w( n: ^& V ?8 s9 t U' @airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
1 N& S; `- j, u; Xstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
