Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the" J# g, S Z c& B

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and6 }5 F' N3 W0 V+ C$ k4 G+ N' E7 w
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
% H7 q. V' O& o$ [) qprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.1 S# W1 C+ Y/ ^2 J3 Z* J* F" _5 `
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
$ Q& f7 W2 V5 @; Zartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.. S- |. f; x& ?4 S
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
( l2 u6 S+ f+ Rvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the6 z; N. g, A; G' e. Q
recyclables.8 c) n/ i0 f1 _. ]: K2 |
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be# |1 V; ]( J$ M# ]. m* j( G3 h
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.7 x9 O+ Y$ h1 X8 e
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing) w% d) o# A5 u7 G6 g
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late3 e5 E6 V( t% p: V, P
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
$ u1 U' ?2 B0 s/ q7 K2 I3 PInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the: ~3 T y. F8 O7 q9 b1 {
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
# W- ~* B- T1 ]$ @* i# r) d9 Gprograms to visitors to the festival.7 c k( @2 C$ u
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for6 f5 k, z' ~1 c. x9 l
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.7 _5 z! T2 Q2 k* c4 u% K: I
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
S/ R+ @+ W8 a7 l1 \+ ^events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
$ N; j: i* @, G! {8 p; n) ?festival.% G; L" n1 s* b
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
- R5 ^2 l6 E/ y* S7 o3 i9 {3 yoperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you$ D' `; ^ _3 Z- e* Z( x" @/ ^$ \
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.7 i" C1 }6 M3 K5 j/ F( ]! ?8 ^2 }
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
% O3 @2 m! Y( e, }' Kand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
/ X) n: | j4 z' k3 d: PTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be+ F1 b; K1 }; O j' T" g
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
. n$ J: o3 D0 y" l2 F! qairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival& `9 S! ~- ~/ x7 i$ j
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
