The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
/ o1 u" o. P& S$ {) V7 YAssociation (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
9 G3 J1 H' o# x9 }' S; Qtheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
- F' S$ x9 q! J- z+ M! Fin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
8 r" G  m; @3 Q) b: ?Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
( b8 T! G" ?3 q- S5 W$ C: ~songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
