tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to
award

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
( C  T. Z* p8 k! L$ cAssociation (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
& c& O* t. F) Ctheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
# W+ d; t4 ?6 Q) p: C# XAchievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

) {$ b6 ~$ q6 s  x! m( R& Nperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
7 `  U$ ~3 ?3 Q5 icrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
