7 y# k6 [- E8 |/ bJOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
4 Z2 o4 W  X! pOperations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
1 x$ ?+ z$ a+ ?fulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
effective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

) Q5 Q/ }$ }" M" P7 }DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
, V7 e" ?$ |' \, a4 R1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
0 b4 q) t5 ^) H4 P( Q+ c% QRetail in the training of part time staff
& f, M% p7 s( g5 m( F
4 w+ U2 m( m, N+ [6 H) T/ N; m2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
& s; c% L  C, d7 x$ B8 l) j$ Aensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements

3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured

4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
; F9 l4 U: Q( D( hvarious shifts as per store hours
. d& [4 w0 I& h0 G
5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
8 k0 v/ ?6 q& Jorders for external custom order clients

6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

& M1 p' ?1 a1 I/ J6 V0 {  V! A7)             Provide a high level of customer service

, e1 K% X4 @+ y! n8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
date with regards to consignment data

: [) _, m+ c4 n  k9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
SUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the

QUALIFICATIONS;
( Y4 O, T# A9 Y& m1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent
7 F) ?% }4 s5 h' H; b
2)             Post secondary education would be an asset

% f/ k) F0 J" p3 a7 ~/ [3 W# L. k/ O8 ?3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset

4)             Strong organizational skills

) j5 O1 M/ J% `0 K8 E5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
detail

6)             Knowledge of computer operations

# c% \1 D% Q% z4 ^  C! J7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a  
variety of areas

8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public
