Food Service Worker II - Food Services

+ w0 b. X6 _. }+ ~JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
" _+ X' E5 e% qOperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

! n5 X1 n" H7 IDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
; n5 r% j4 e9 |; q1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
, [+ V. t- ^" H  p% D4 ffood in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
area.

( p& }$ I$ f+ n* c8 n0 z4 E$ S2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

* h  a- s# H9 F# s) M$ r3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.

4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
3 {" J& N. O; Mwork rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
9 m, M+ r7 [. ~- l$ I1 ~, Q9 noperating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

% [/ J( i" Z! R+ x- |. T/ u7 o. C6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

5 S5 P0 Z" C$ c. e$ H7 @QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.
2 P+ e+ F3 [. p$ I& b
; r5 P! z  B' Q$ h2)              Some cooking/baking experience.

3) Cashier experience.

1 h/ `+ U+ g, |9 X+ R4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
" k, u; R8 F# _' u6 |9 I* d3 z
) b) y. u! |; y7 k* v5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
