the Students' Union and oversees all electoral logistics as per Bylaw

Standing Orders by April 15 and serve from May 1 to April 30 of the % o& {1 m; B8 P- k J
year following their appointment.

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 2000 R" u, r7 k6 S$ X. T3 r' J k
Q9 u9 q- c2 v- B; u. g5 O+ `# v2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.

adequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations

5) To oversee the physical count of the ballots during elections/

7 f# ?5 ~. A6 e$ k6) To report the result of an election/referendum to the appropriate

7) To facilitate classroom speaking arrangements during an election/

To enforce budgetary regulations as stipulated in the Elections 5 @! O5 W# z f. j4 _, D
Bylaw 2000.

7 @# W7 }: l kminimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday, 0 ]0 r' N6 `; N, Q2 j
from the first working day after nominations close until the last day * |: _: u3 _/ p2 P8 x
of voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.& o. C k5 c) D+ l8 I$ w5 o

11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during
3 V1 y* n# `7 l) cthe course of an election/referendum.

12) To ensure that a cost effective and accurate ballot counting
* L; x7 o7 i3 o) `$ h! l0 [process is in place.

14) To organize a minimum of one (1) forum to be held during the week . ] j3 [0 i0 u/ a+ s8 U
of campaigning.

15) Perform other job related duties as required by the Council " M. y @4 N- b* L
Administration Committee.

1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course 1 V1 _) e) S0 ~/ B/ j- F
for each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students' 2 q, t' R7 c% [7 w, q+ e
Union member.

+ d u( p1 S. p6 B- @7 M2) Must have some experience in student elections.

; M3 K' d' \! e Q& \any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position
