DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
, V2 j* j7 s+ {(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
' \1 M' F, G5 [3 h/ ~) Opolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

' t7 @! [( [' ]' A5 |7 pDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. ~) {3 F$ b2 j% Y. y' B$ L  J1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
' n7 E' }/ _. H1 qand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
2 I1 S  S- E) l+ @: ]of garbage.

1 h0 v% s3 A. b) n4 C7 {" G4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
/ V! ], i. }; L; \0 Carea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
7 y- ?! [+ q4 ~" _7 D2 yManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
" J. V3 Z9 D2 x5 j1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
& Z" e; E8 S. W2 ?- zof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
8 F  |) o7 ]' R) f& N7 Vcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

8 B; _- y. I" S3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

( Y- I2 C" |4 J5 O4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
