DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
: w/ ~- t- r1 ^6 J7 rpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% p3 {6 Y; W. f0 E/ CDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
0 L, j. _3 D+ ]1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

5 |2 u) {0 F. e8 k2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

* j( k$ r' u7 M4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
$ R$ r* J! N3 E% r1 @area when required.

5 p" S6 \; |# }; v1 O6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

! _5 P- A+ b9 B. L; C1 a8 F( t1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

4) Must be physically capable.
