DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
* @% ^: R- n9 V% @8 j" M- H; }policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

1 k, K; s# o, V8 w* O  H1 LDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ p, c6 S1 _: m. e1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
, Q  M, T" ~9 n% L" Q% b# gand are University affiliated.

1 ^1 F% X8 m2 S0 Z/ V2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

# g. g! a% S+ l2 P4 q7 j3 r9 U0 C3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free

# J; v. _3 F& e) P9 Y" N/ J4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  ^9 Y# n0 p; ], B$ y5 u/ R5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1 M5 E3 T2 p/ U6 E5 S& S! \7 s4 S3 E1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
7 M5 e- e$ I& T6 N4 L4 Q4 t- u' M7 Kcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

- P' I4 B) H& Z- ?# U4) Must be physically capable.

public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
