0 B0 C8 b/ H$ hJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
$ z" J) _& A3 t  r* [* _policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
% V' G  J* B% s+ {0 \1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
& L, _# i/ r) @! Q5 ^' `and are University affiliated.
* \" y$ s& m8 a: ~1 v2 J3 L  q
6 U4 [% k9 l5 C: H3 q( E' `2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
7 a  K8 ?$ n# U6 m( x% J
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

  N1 N; T# w, {$ F9 R4 V4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
" V5 \) x2 d: n2 M- tconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
! m5 W# L* q& b; j! z. z
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

( H+ Q' i) f8 X" t1 e/ ]! v$ K1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
! {1 m" c5 G" {1 jof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
' y, r' n* F% ^( Y) Q/ r4 G# t
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.
! _$ P8 M' E0 }4 S7 Q6 R
5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
