% S( ?( K+ s) b; OJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
7 m2 D5 @' h/ }(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
+ j: R: `( K0 ]2 \0 Bpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

9 l, d# z) N2 G9 K$ g+ T2 qDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
0 P# @, J$ f) v, f+ j. S# ^+ Dand are University affiliated.
. {+ d) _  J$ u" E1 A
& t* k7 d  N  y& |3 _! s2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
: J3 P% T+ c  A; T
, a5 d% u1 M1 C4 x3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

' V7 H$ Z6 O: _7 L2 B1 v9 A. r- o4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
! g+ \$ Y6 i' k$ S4 Gconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

' K% u7 C5 ^, J: M5 O+ }5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

; O. \8 D" m2 W, o* J/ @6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
3 s: ?$ t4 K: N' f8 k; ~! E: ZManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

: T1 ]" l0 n6 h; k7 QQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
3 o: D" e% t' K* L5 Q# Ccalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
  }+ z0 N1 G* J3 D- Y% r$ t
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
0 U9 X" K+ ?8 n6 v& k, n# ]
4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
