ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter/ ^7 v( ]& {7 S. \
The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.* S% P7 H0 t y

1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.5 G, K% |. z4 a# w' x* ~( ]$ y9 n/ ^
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.* x( y( _9 U' C
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
