ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

1 e; q/ V3 I5 g2 z" SThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

Qualifications:
9 Y/ T/ g$ O8 A" u+ h" }. l. O! I1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.) g7 G4 @* a$ E! }3 h7 M
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.( u) v* c) P$ _) l9 J3 \- D7 e( Q
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
