ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter7 h$ \& e6 ~' |2 g
The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.: \ ?1 S* ^# @: |( }# {& I
3 t, C( O g& N; T c2 H1 L- XEducation Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.

7 ^. A; f& @$ H" Z/ \+ C2 M* V1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.

' a8 G7 ~% k4 s; ?3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
