Two shifts
27.5 hours a week.  $8.96 an hour.  Hours from 3 p.m. until 8:30  
p.m., Monday through Friday

" o" O, i  y. B) bJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the  
4 O5 v8 f  P/ A/ lOperations Manager and Senior Operations Manager-Food Services.

) }& P9 F9 w( d4 GDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
% ^) @$ o2 B6 `9 H; B1) Serve as cashier when required.
: ?3 L. S" ~7 }/ M, P
! V+ [6 |  @8 a5 m: u8 }6 L2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
4 ]  G3 p8 N$ r7 g8 F$ Q! K
0 b* u* V# Y$ R/ W8 F' ?) @: C3) Food preparation and cooking as required.

4) To follow stipulate of the Edmonton Board of Health.

" j' p: h7 l. E5 C  j% {9 d6 w5) Monitor product levels, order, receive and store food deliveries.
! x- r; i8 l* x  c6 W; I( ]
' z+ |( s9 r+ n( F* i6) Perform monthly food inventory.

9 b8 G$ m; h. O# H7) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Power Plant/RATT operating hours.

To perform other related duties as directed by the Manager.

5 p- m. q1 y2 m0 sQUALIFICATIONS;
7 C7 t- K" B& ]" U& d. @1) Minimum one year experience as a short order cook, thorough  
knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

2) Previous experience with food inventories.
  m1 p; J" Q- N! T' ~$ M
; l8 `6 e3 x! V% x$ U' x3 y3) Cashier experience.
) y3 f9 F' L. U  x: g, k4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
; o. ]2 b1 r8 p) z+ ^
( N" B1 W, Z( `7 L8 E, h5) Very good public and staff relations.

; n7 J) V: J* k) b: |6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.

; ?5 z$ d* W0 m# CFebruary 14/97/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hour (under negotiation) plus 50% discount on food  
purchased at SU outlets to be eaten on shift break
