Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 0 F* C* F9 ~' W" V4 {3 a# Z
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, ( d( f9 h/ D2 z
cleanliness and order in the bar./ Y7 B a- N" J0 j& m) H4 H( r

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* q; l; ]7 d2 E2 D1 x' |
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and `( L; w' A( r: k8 [9 h8 p
beverage items.

& Z, S2 m# Y/ T0 C- g# f" W/ |% d2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the " K$ f5 H9 }$ C8 x
bar and debit floats.; C* _" O s; S* e; ~
2 ?8 ^* s2 e0 v7 \3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of 7 Y6 i2 P1 Q( S1 A1 x
each shift, and upon closing.( t f+ q3 K0 i$ K1 W

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 4 q; H e* i* a+ l
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
% i9 k# r( O% a4 G; Z) ~seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.0 [2 A6 L, V* _: {

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
9 ?. j6 k3 g# K. K/ v9 ]storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
" Z. l: _, R3 H; _. q, ?( tproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.7 w! ^) V6 I; B

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close 0 F* ?4 } w" E; \
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a * Q3 ^% e$ s: f6 Z
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
3 ?( O) R8 d. c& k6 {8 gaccordance with Students' Union policies.

% R g/ }2 c& i! q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

+ N9 F/ W! Z! Y5 k" N: k; o2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
9 K) r8 T" c- T1 \operation.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
9 c T* n f0 j8 T2 J7 faccordance with Students' Union policy.

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs./ A" }8 U4 {- l1 i! {* b: f
