JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the * l+ q$ x% {" z$ [6 z2 b( @( S
Bartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for 9 Y. C4 V% B9 a/ T
carrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of 1 e3 M4 F \4 H6 @2 Y+ N4 o
customer service and room cleanliness.

1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
. h. W. ]* |' t- S7 Dhigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
4 o) F+ J& Y8 Gaccordance with Students' Union policies.. [% M, P) C8 W

3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the # S1 z' T1 g9 l
total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness, 9 d8 c _8 [3 G; a" f6 k6 h9 B
including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate 7 t+ P/ B/ w" x: N4 I1 W e

intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.

% ?$ b8 z) J, C |& S1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

& U' G; A5 s7 v& L2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based
5 l4 S$ I* Q9 h. s3 Zoperation.5 H, e% @0 [7 C* ^8 W
& {, v2 p5 T, \: ^0 B Q; W! H3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union

card transactions.
