- are currently recruiting for the full time summer position of Urban
* X/ A- Q: }' iGeography Research Assistant.

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for 30 hours per week.

  j# J# z, Z$ U9 ~8 X% \4 ZThis position is for 10 weeks total.

0 `- x' d$ x: m% g/ |/ f4 mAs an urban geography research assistant, you will be working on a
. r! }7 k; y* D9 S% x+ Xfunded project to examine changes in access to healthy food in Edmonton
between 1970 and present. Duties include searching electronic databases,
# x! t* w$ z" @) |" p/ C) eundertaking land title searches, manipulating databases and spreadsheets
and GIS analysis and mapping.

Qualifications include an interest in urban geography, secondary
literature search proficiency, general research experience and GIS
+ N: b  H2 {& p& o# o3 F' ~skills.
