Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at4 s' E F3 k2 l7 }2 l4 K0 x$ H
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus2 h8 i7 {9 s8 G/ z' m
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
6 d) N0 m9 }- O6 {etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for" E* h& |' @) D4 d" I& j
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
$ m, S. u& C4 P1 o. D8 Ptheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
6 Y+ k1 O, x3 c9 E7 Etheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
$ [' I# l$ {6 ~# E: {( Kassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking0 a/ F3 Q' U7 C/ a
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city% n, B. |2 n: y
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city# J9 S8 \3 S% I2 r" q
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night1 c L. i) P! I S
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or5 f7 l- j; C5 }4 D) U* c0 q
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
8 d. a9 X+ k6 w( E: r/ ~; yCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate" x. D" M) {- ~/ t- a
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,2 g+ x2 _9 t! e. S7 r9 f9 d( z7 B
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
/ B4 e9 C3 L7 }3 k$ @# v' R- ?a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those; T; q, Y- A+ s" ~7 d/ C1 {
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management$ I, t) }! n+ l0 w, j
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word, h" C. d7 W; ?1 m( r1 l
