Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 301 I2 o+ l$ X1 V7 m1 {9 ]
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
6 O- K- r+ ^. s O; | m, qCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus# b( x* ]1 M+ H+ H
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
+ o9 k% S+ ^; V+ B" D' F4 Betc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for* W5 R/ P& D* M1 V5 ~9 R+ S
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and. f# J2 @3 q: c. F
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during' I0 g; O& q* j
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,- _0 _6 G! m+ a9 x) ]9 z. O
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking0 B, e4 v0 ?4 P, `; m \# ~0 C/ ]( a
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city8 Q; U% S+ ^6 ?, V
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city* p" J% u) h& R" _
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
- `8 ]7 k) @( M: v$ `8 ~excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or+ v- o% |" w T2 ]! s- n) a0 q
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents" o0 d+ z- m# C+ z( L
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in: A) |* F& G6 ]# R/ O
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
& ~5 V; I- P6 X. B# }: i; O0 _fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
3 _% f9 [5 ?4 k: j' e1 jdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
; X9 T2 | z) z9 na variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
8 R" |3 [- R- X9 Mof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management1 Q, ^4 H- ?6 Y- B# `
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,9 o S+ i7 g" T+ ~2 Q
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
- v3 k" h5 W7 e" B/ C7 M2 vexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
