Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

2 L7 T" O9 S$ ~6 q( p. J" UDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
, M# b. Q5 f3 \$ d; Utechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
4 w8 V- M: K; U% K' sfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
! s( @9 U0 a# v1 {9 z$ t: xChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
% p1 r8 m9 r+ iseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
- Y! _5 e( N# v% fof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
