9195.  

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
- x) @5 z% f* @* wtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
8 g; j# H& T2 v# l, f0 m1 Z$ {for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
; l6 }% ~3 K  g8 a* Z7 Q- d, W; c0 [include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
; X7 N! ~, i) X' \Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
