Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

; G5 c- ]+ t1 t! Ptechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
7 D) i' h5 U  J! f! gfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
4 M2 ~" d7 M* Q* L: G) k$ Z! uinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
' D. U& H0 d- ~; {/ N1 fcompounds by chromatography.

, o: y/ V# d0 ]. ]4 e( r/ Z8 I3 Z) X5 }# jQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
1 @+ q  Y: F- R+ t3 CChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
8 r& A' [$ Q( K" Z; n) X# Aof a team essential.

and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
