recruiting for the position of Laboratory Technician Assistant - Job No.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
7 y7 c& k; j) w) j' ytechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
: J# `. Q5 u$ H4 g  G7 gfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
, K, N& v( i& N3 D5 B) I% z- scompounds by chromatography.

( R# u: b; J* q+ e- G4 s; G1 [Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
$ r, q6 C( |- @3 V; sanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
- a$ f4 p; S7 K( y. P" cof a team essential.

and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
