The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials& u- q5 I8 u D& ?/ \7 g0 Q& _. O- l
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material

Performs routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting2 l( J8 X; N& ?+ ?; x e4 k
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
