Job Summary:

Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.9 [" |8 S5 _6 V+ G

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

" X( |2 X5 |; ^& fMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
) v6 |& K+ x2 b7 T0 y3 W" VInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials% B" r, P1 ~" ^; f. [2 Y5 k
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material$ P* V6 r1 x+ J* c: c
Must be able to work safely at all times
* ?2 K. S& J$ t6 a; ^3 ^( oBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
4 N/ h& `& f3 e7 ?, Y$ [; m5 NPerforms routine housekeeping.
4 }; W" j& J! @! ^) FObserves and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting6 z( g7 g. @, A4 ?, }( F
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing4 S1 O) i7 r% ~* `8 p9 g8 ?4 b
High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization5 n- l+ o- W* K( Q6 v& }9 j; G
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
