Job Summary:
( w& N. l6 B) l/ Q$ F* S9 J1 sThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting., }) a& e% W9 R% a+ X1 A+ C/ e

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials" W; I) t/ M% {# B2 ^! y4 W
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
2 W) e S9 H) Y7 J9 Q/ MLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
9 F' z9 G# i2 x7 SMust be able to work safely at all times* b. U+ h3 X% K8 J* `$ z- y/ D
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
9 `8 P" k, F$ r, m( GPerforms routine housekeeping.
P* y4 }2 v0 V. V& VObserves and reports any safety issues1 V6 e, p7 U0 d1 e

Job Qualifications:

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED), a' g: B! e z/ Q
Well-articulated and assertive
5 p( K' i$ N6 R F: G7 NAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
