CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

6 b" R# l. y- e8 A1 H9 W· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
# J7 u4 v: \, ?# s/ a
3 |3 r8 U8 ]. r· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
* i6 J7 Q: M! [
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
& k& O* n1 `2 C5 \$ r
" _6 C" _. ^4 l" O: M· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

! ~( ]8 G! f, D· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
! o* L* b3 R" y6 `; u0 e0 G# L
· Minimum 3 years experience
( K6 K) B, \$ ~- R; s# Z
· Valid Class 1 license
4 V; ]! _3 {+ E
# H0 P. U! F8 r# U, \1 w- X· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

  X$ q  T# R) g3 S( C( `· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

; \5 r7 z( a3 ~/ I· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation
