CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork0 k, o7 J6 t+ Q3 G) Y
7 I% H# M$ |' K; w- b5 ]9 D· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
; x2 r( g/ Y8 ^. F/ i3 g
$ s# {, ]* k: i# H% @ n; K; H· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order) N% X5 c7 H- i

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner

· Valid Class 1 license9 M2 ~( Y* V; z% Q
0 b, M! I( ~# Z· 5 years clean driving record and abstract, K1 W H6 v9 j8 C3 O" n
+ P/ j' {( h2 v* ~" a5 u· Load securement certification
! d2 E( i! K% v7 C2 `# U4 ^4 F* K |0 u8 Q/ q" C
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)5 a/ l, N+ D- n& p3 z/ H
- ]: x! m& a! x* j7 [· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation
