CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

, s4 J' R. g9 f' M  K+ D5 C2 c2 c· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
  g1 i$ y* G0 @3 k
5 C9 a1 I' B+ U9 _" J· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

$ l3 c% j. V0 @· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
; l- [- W# i: q$ W$ T% Z) zQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
3 ^& C4 p. c- z+ O) @$ r1 z6 V3 ^7 r
· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

8 Q) {+ S9 ^) i· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
