CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

  q6 S0 g& Y) p' }· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

4 C: k5 r5 f0 i1 |, Z% g· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
& H. K" Y; T/ O; S3 V
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

0 }7 h7 K2 K) x) E& }1 o% ~) l· Minimum 3 years experience
6 j: `. d' V. [4 L" h$ k9 z( H. h
· Valid Class 1 license
' Q: C# ]# Z8 P7 Y; y7 W3 ^# X
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

. E" L8 l; U4 s· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

% i& S1 W+ e! n- L" q· Excellent organizational and time management skills

) z  i: J9 q" O7 Y- V/ @$ z· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

1 L( L% H: C& W! ~5 d· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

+ C) C7 O0 C5 x3 |- E* B· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
