EDMONTON — Southgate Centre today began a $108 million expansion to accommodate more than 30 new retailers and restaurants., k" s- {6 V: t7 R$ T3 }! O1 R
5 D# E) Z% {4 ~8 D8 B: g R/ J* G* eThe two-year project, facing 111th Street, will add 126,000 square feet of leasable space on the ground floor — and two levels of parking above.

Southgate, a 36-year-old mall located south and west of 51st Avenue and 111th Street, now has 130 stores and services. It is owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge, based in Montreal.
