MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
4 w$ f* n" k1 S0 L: }Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
/ X7 N5 @& L5 nDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
( k& M. P  F: E6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
; ?2 J* e! ^0 D2 ~$ @1 j7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
& [. m4 N6 i% s2 c2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
; h& B5 A$ P7 G$ V6 Z0 i4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
