, e( j7 W; J# QThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
1 a% d: F0 d0 |( e+ }3 E-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
- c" Z7 `7 q& i* Q7 G+ J+ `-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
* N) d" I  A; A5 E! t. c6 u-        Building and managing supplier relationships
/ A7 {: ^  B6 ?9 w6 ^; F-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
9 A+ n$ a* r/ ?: N8 e5 [! Q! |) Y
3 c' g: @: g* t% b- FRequirements:
- Sound research skills
6 R1 x2 }7 D1 M- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
' E+ X# M, T, ]* m) D- Strong organization and time management skills
) A9 x  ]+ ?( a1 X- Friendly and outgoing personality
, n: S" }  z1 `6 g  J- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
; Q  Y& n3 l1 F$ K' i4 t- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
