This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
6 Q+ J2 r# T& ]) _( S, w-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
3 P; H9 D) \) U8 _' B9 n3 i1 g-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
  v" A# v2 Q( K4 t6 I- Sound research skills
+ k5 ~; o$ V3 y7 ?- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
0 J0 K& _* T  m. I5 m- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
/ I& S4 X, w& {4 x7 Y, z: N; m3 H- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- R$ d0 S$ U* D, Y' _) M. e- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
* N. Z! t2 y9 T' D$ i0 c4 B- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
