This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

  C3 g/ \; t2 \+ s7 i7 z5 KThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
2 B+ o0 I# Z  J( @-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
. V; S( x6 f# k  J- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
