TORONTO -- Sun Life Financial Inc. said Monday it is retiring the Clarica brand as part of a revised marketing strategy.

There are almost two million Clarica policy- and accountholders in Canada, said Sun Life. Clarica also has a sales force of about 3,500.0 p0 d0 [8 K" ? r6 @$ T4 b# B/ n8 I
" [7 n5 [+ a' @# h" n# NThe company said the changes will be completed by the first quarter of 2008. Sun Life will incur a $40-million to $50-million charge in the first quarter of 2007.- e) q# K6 W: Z6 o% m# P, Z+ J
