Essential Responsibilities:
) ^( u ~5 u6 y" T
' H; a. Z! |: r% X+ @0 oPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems." O- |! e- X8 M. ^! y V. B# E
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
4 i! J* l9 r0 W3 \: a$ @Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.# R" O0 i; m) P6 i( F
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
7 ?3 y& T& q5 ?/ i0 cInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications. v9 Y& v3 i1 e
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
9 Y7 `6 Z! w. _0 nManage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
v& S/ E7 r# }1 F0 E' OLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed

Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
3 Y+ {+ O2 z7 Y' K% x; I3 C/ {Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.; [* N* Y; t4 q2 A" t
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
8 A2 H# R _+ E* jParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
( I: @- U$ j( s* HWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing
9 r4 n" @0 |# s4 B6 O1 nLead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure4 H8 K* c) Q! _$ T# [8 P+ a
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.* ? {: m" V) M* g) v' i

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
" b7 w+ [& Z% X! E6 v0 \Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.3 x& s: K+ S2 q! H( g/ W* O
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)$ N4 E3 S2 `4 d
Experience interpreting process control documents.
# G- u" t& F t2 k, F3 PExcellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
# v7 U* |8 U- U1 u0 cProven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
& R/ X1 X. U! d- R( {2 |Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies* Y u9 ]0 |$ J0 W0 T
Valid passport and driver's license.

Understanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics and previous experience with water treatment systems- r9 c' A. w/ K9 K" O
Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
! y2 l# y' L( C' I0 C* r5 n" U' TMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)" S# k* O* `1 F$ {4 L, ~6 }! `
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment/ t4 f% I* O: r* G* T# U4 a& Z
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents; K0 K4 O" A/ T. S2 r2 K! l/ \' E1 o
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
K4 ^9 J6 g, h% tAbility to schedule, prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously
