/ f- R1 \5 \( }6 Q2 m. `3 ^As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

" \2 F* H9 ^& Z* j/ w- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ( I; u4 r, n! m. d' m- ], p
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
4 L8 s( b$ v+ U6 A- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
5 S9 P8 z5 f B- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ) X& P( j# [( Q5 x# P- d5 {: O
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
# h0 {0 |5 t9 l$ g- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). " V; S0 T c" n5 ^" ]. z0 {( P4 u
- Managing shift expense budgets.

3 j* I" i4 p7 K* ]' n- Previous supervisory experience

& K2 a1 i1 n# n8 @% M e- A minimum of grade 12 diploma + n' @: L6 R0 [, ?* _
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
% k7 ^# p2 k# x) t3 J# J# J( U- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
) Y, D# F1 g* I% v- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
