As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

: R8 f+ B/ p4 \' q! z- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- i1 ]+ Y% o7 e- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& K" ~/ n! q+ {2 O5 j5 @! }+ K- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
& @; D2 d; S/ j; H& m5 L- K- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements
9 f! b5 z9 L# ^' p, X/ v4 }+ W
- Previous supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills
: N, A0 u: O0 y- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
