As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:. F) {. U8 k6 A$ c. i
$ x3 q( C, M1 k3 w- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
% _, u: I$ U* Q5 s- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. / }9 p) w. r% R* x. @
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 6 c" j: `+ b% }& M
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. # t, E/ O) _ r5 r9 c* m
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
1 j) E( i) G( E& c* g, K4 g- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

7 m5 D, _' E1 L) i7 i, a' X& h& rExperience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience , Q# J* ], \1 C# c7 j. q) F
- Strong leadership skills
3 x- v$ i! \6 J7 O4 j5 I6 d. a- A minimum of grade 12 diploma % |; K% N4 g7 [
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
8 c; B2 W7 M4 s1 A# K( k( T3 u- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations * P9 \6 \$ R* _; U& b7 V2 i. Q0 ~/ ]
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
