Job Description : Description of Accountability

( }1 M' p; Y# X* o Z8 JAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 3 Y: p: O, |* r# u8 [
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ' i2 }5 k, U! h
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
' o) j% N3 o3 P3 ?: v- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& n( _- s# y \5 W" C, g( O- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 4 }- ?: R! V: U0 s: R" E! u
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). , E* X: @$ y l' X
- Managing shift expense budgets. & ]# ^5 z, ^2 s( H6 | Q: a

Experience and Education Requirements; j f1 M6 e% T- w4 N+ A
& G# X- o* p, F7 l) m% z- Previous supervisory experience
' y r2 w+ p* A) m: |- Strong leadership skills
( i) G* ^" w* \4 Q6 H- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
: H8 c" N) v( H( r3 U- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
3 D. ], l8 ]* S) ?1 E+ l& n- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
% ^4 Q6 U0 d$ o5 a, ^. {- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.3 S% ^; p% L1 n- a
