Students at the University of Alberta have voted in favour of mandatory bus passes, a move that will cost students an extra $75 every term.

我希望负面的东西尽少出现。关于u-pass的争论，还不在于u-pass本身是否应该存在，还有如何使用的问题，希望管理条例能跟上，不要象Calgary那样有很多冒名顶替的出现，也就是把u-pass的使用权卖出赚钱，还还理直气壮的。

对学生来说每个月50多块的buspass真得有点太贵了，难以承受呢。国内一张月票学生才10块钱。赞成U-pass，虽然我忘了投票的说。

其实ETS应该设不同面额的月票、季票和半年票,而且要依次更便宜，便于公车族使用。学生买票凭学生证(包括所有持有学生证的)可以打折(限一次,避免转卖他人自己赚钱),这样乘坐bus和地铁的人会越来越多的。
