In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
, R+ R2 O9 E0 V' b$ oAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
9 J. B/ w( _  s& L4 ]/ JAchieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
2 T- N& h& |& VBe accountable for decision and actions
0 }, d; n5 q/ o5 hMitigate risk to the organization.
Education:
. X  t  L8 l  |2 q0 l- ^# v
9 n* y9 N0 m* h) z. i3 j* dA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:
% A& i& i; @5 d# X/ R6 q+ [
0 t9 }5 Q2 @  r5 n  @* V  S9 IDemonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
; G1 V* A2 y$ E, J/ \2 L: `1 H& A( qPublic speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

. o, G+ c7 V+ @8 [& [& v0 A  k  _* PCurrent or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

) ?' G/ F# \- k0 I' E+ @Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
: P& T$ g1 B( ]+ lMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.
