# a$ j1 H) v1 s$ v$ g' `RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
) I0 Y2 x* t; I2 P. h• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
2 E' t( a& m, B# e' M/ D   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
& P6 S# D5 M) Q5 j5 |6 P% d5 t; o   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
  p+ G( r7 ?3 C/ G" C; A+ \   o Sun Solaris operating systems
' N! r2 F# O: `7 E& o   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
, P0 l1 `$ |$ r# r• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
5 N7 O3 ?1 c7 F# U+ H% V4 T• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

, \3 M0 b* i+ u' a8 T, l• Certification should include some or all of the following:

9 T3 y  n" P, W7 U, A8 F   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
" w! q  r) \6 B0 Y2 j   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
6 c6 {2 w( w* f- e! N9 l• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
* k1 n) O8 _$ u- Y6 H• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
( v. j+ h5 V: m' |+ {• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
' @# V3 g3 G3 M% S! \' t9 J2 w• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
