POSITION HOURS: 8AM – 5PM
EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
+ I3 f# M: ~9 R- }7 h   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
: ^" `) h+ B- {, Y/ l6 E6 q   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
, B: Q. w5 L1 Y( F+ j- Z   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
9 ?3 C7 c8 h4 K% f* p! m6 K   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
) j( Q2 e/ i2 R   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
6 c4 s) \, ]1 d! p4 k* U   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
9 v, Q6 j. F3 E& YSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
) h; D1 m) ]4 b. O* ^) q7 N• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
9 ^7 Y5 s9 f  p# e2 V. f% z• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy

   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
! h% ~! P  l- n   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)

0 b9 c* }4 K, n* T0 q$ i& F   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

4 P/ ?: _; R0 t: f0 ?' W0 f, A• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
6 k, Y2 B! @& Z$ j! {2 d, g• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
1 c1 L) l, V& J$ ]' e4 l• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
8 G  O! q$ Y8 G7 L# b• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

  K) `4 t$ X/ d) e• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
