LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

. n% [/ V& {! e( q" W& i' RRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
) G. u! q( Z5 Y+ [4 F• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
- }8 z+ n* s# r   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
  ~. r: ^9 M- X. P3 i9 A• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

  f( e' p3 v1 M, t7 _9 ~% L- uSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
! [$ _- d4 ?) g$ G9 R• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
8 x9 C. @& [0 G' d• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
  I$ Y! `- h2 w• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
: A5 J3 j4 @! G+ O1 f• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
/ t  [6 p2 r- Z1 ~   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

' u0 A) N% v' B2 w• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
( M' T$ m( B6 ~- h0 d, O• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
& s3 T$ b8 }/ }3 U! n9 m  ^• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
% r; Y0 X0 h8 f9 k, w" U• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
! B8 ?9 W9 O, _+ r• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
