LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
9 H5 k; @5 C  \1 U# o9 v4 B• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
9 D, ]- u; P, x9 |. L$ O   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
3 m  m4 j' U! B. f. w0 S   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
* T( d, k$ k' l. ?. Q   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
, {' N3 R6 [- R& K2 P( X& I. v   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
+ t; J" a1 ?/ S; U5 W• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
9 E- d3 j+ q8 l6 c: ]• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
, ?. ?1 u# ~' G" lplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

  h3 b+ [, h% I7 ]: K9 ISKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
* }$ n' \; i/ r6 R; n3 {   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
7 T5 k6 A$ S6 i: c% o   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
9 i0 h# u' J0 `+ Z9 ?( i   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
5 c. x& c7 a, z• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
# t0 U! D1 W- Z' x( f0 _0 N• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
