Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
% o+ D. ^7 \; {" T! i& E3 ~7 r- Supervise kitchen staff
. M5 [/ _  V  E# [1 R+ f2 T6 a- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
" b' ?7 V* a) `- q- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
6 u* }" m4 u. F, q- G1 q- Manage kitchen operations
8 f% b4 n6 ?* f- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
! v' D4 r7 {$ A: n: p. ?  s8 j2 Y- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
3 N' ?. b/ V0 k- W5 E- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
) s, C1 O; _; d4 r# V! W- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
& _" i: N  _  m% LThis is a contract, full-time position.
/ Z5 U  v# j: c; Y* I, sWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
! K+ P+ }- {, v6 \: e5 gWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
: w0 F' r  T1 q) d0 w( ~6 t: vSalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
