Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
$ E! V7 p; N5 n, x5 V( p; S- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
4 c7 ^. h0 o0 j; \) _# K* V0 Z- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
$ W4 x! D" w( o& c- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
# V$ \7 V4 O% ~0 e1 K3 i- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
! K& U& o' Y; a- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
$ a+ O9 c) f# E) i) V; S/ K2 ^1 t- Good proficiency in English.
; D+ ?  l- A/ j5 \- Highly organized.
3 [0 h6 j) l+ i% gThis is a contract, full-time position.
% d3 @& F/ i  y- u/ u2 o/ AWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
: }( z+ o4 Z8 wWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
