Job Description:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
' e8 j, ^" y8 \% zEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
5 i, y* ^' b! tRecruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
. r, J* W6 Q! E2 v, P" bPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
8 y; O- e4 u' F8 w/ c2 QKeep time and payroll records
% i  [8 f9 g- A8 ]' N: Z  gMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Excellent record of kitchen management

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
) q1 @# e6 P7 bWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
