Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
8 S4 o' E% q! X, s' L6 B1 t& uSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
/ v+ h( C/ l. D% d6 h4 v- HArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
" H/ g" d! U. J. n: d8 V  d& _- KRectify arising problems or complaints
4 }9 o9 l0 z. I$ }% qGive prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
