" R& W7 A' W" |9 k2 {The Liberals’ first federal budget was released earlier this week, and in it $570-million dollars was allocated for Canada’s tourism sector.& R3 k8 Y' Q; I9 v3 h" T
9 r6 e) ~- K' I8 wRoyce Chwin, the CEO of Travel Alberta, tells the Alberta Morning News how some of that money will be spent right here in Alberta.

“$83.3-million, in terms of free admission for national parks, so that of course will apply here in Banff and Jasper as an example. It also looks like there’s an investment of about $66-million for new biking and walking trail within Jasper National Park.”. s$ B4 |4 Q, y h, A

Chwin adds that with the low Canadian dollar he expects we’ll see more Albertan’s traveling within our borders, rather than heading to the States.- V8 @# h) I4 k8 ^

That’s going to show a number of itineraries and road trips throughout the province.
